The looks are dark alright, the tempered glass gives it that deep look and feel. Each glass panel is kept in place by four rubberized screws and attached to a hinge on the rear side. The front side has an aluminum insert, basically pull it and you open the door and can access the compartment. If you look up-close, there is spacing left in-between the glass on all edges, this creates access to and heaps of airflow.

The Obsidian 500D provides plenty of space for radiators and can support for up to 6 case fans. Two SP120 LED fans come standard. The chassis has a modest size of 508mm x 233mm x 502mm. Motherboard form factors supported are ATX, microATX, Mini-ITX. So again, the maximum motherboard size that'll fit is ATX but not XL or EATX.

Lovin' the door side panels, no thumb screws needed, nothing. You can open them with just one finger. The rear side is a little-cramped cable spacing wise, but we'll address that at a later stage of this review.

At the backside, we see seven expansion slots, so dual-slot cards can be set up in Crossfire or SLI mode. All the way below we see the PSU section. PSU wise, you name it... it'll fit as we'll show you later on. There's also the option to go for vertical GPU mounting; show off your GPU to its fullest. Note: PCI-E riser cards will be available as a standalone accessory.
