Corsair provides iCUE software to control its RGB keyboards, headsets, and mice. In the settings tab, you can select the polling rate (up to 1000 Hz) and brightness. You can also update the mouse’s firmware here. In the “Actions” tab, you can assign macros and other activities.

 
The Corsair Katar Pro Wireless has just a single lighting area and no extra buttons beyond the side ones, so there isn't too much to customize. Action assignments can include macros, text pasting, media control, shortcuts, timer countdowns, profile switching, and more. The buttons can also be remapped to specific keys, or even to other mouse buttons. LED, “DPI” is the next tab to visit. Here, you can set the steps for the DPI selection button and the colour of the LED on the mouse, to be able to distinguish them.
In the iCUE you can set the time of the sleep mode after a certain amount of second in an idle state. Additionally, you can enable the “Power Saving mode” as well.

 
Overall, the software is stable and allows for full customization. You can’t go wrong with it, especially since it’s updated frequently.
