Final Words and conclusion

The Corsair K65 Plus Wireless keyboard stands out within the company's product line for its proper typing and gaming experience with its pre-lubricated switches, quality keycaps, and proper robust construction. It offers a comprehensive set of features at a competitive price point, making it an appealing option for consumers. The introduction of a 75% keyboard size by Corsair addresses the growing preference for this form factor, appealing to those who may not require a numeric keypad.  Additionally, the RGB lighting is customizable, allowing users to personalize their experience.

Aesthetics

The K65 model introduces a design update with a darker, grey base that subtly incorporates the Corsair logo along with RGB lighting, enhancing the keyboard's aesthetic appeal. The advanced LED backlighting not only improves the visual appeal but also enhances the overall user experience by supporting different keyboard functionalities. The most distinctive aspect of the Corsair K65 Plus Wireless keyboard is its rotary dial, which is immediately noticeable. While such dials are not entirely new to mechanical keyboards, they are particularly meaningful on this smaller-sized model. Nonetheless, there is room for enhancement in some aspects of its design.

Final words

In the end the Corsair K65 Plus is a compact, wireless keyboard featuring hot-swappable Corsair Red MLX Linear switches, catering to both premium and mid-range gaming keyboard markets by offering a nice balance of price, features, and quality. With a retail price of $160, its value is justified through wireless functionality, a very reasonable battery life, and advanced RGB-lit switches, appealing to gurus who prioritize switch customization. Corsair MLX Red switches may be unknown to some, they provide a comfortable typing experience even over extended periods, but primarily you should use this as a gaming keyboard. As typing long stretches of text like this article, well for that mechy's do not have my (personal) preference. Enhanced by Corsair's extensive RGB customization options and a 4,200mAh battery capable of up to 30-40 hours of use, the K65 Plus Wireless stands out for its gaming, sound, and connectivity performance, making it a versatile choice for gaming and various other tasks. Its compact design and the ability to swap switches further sweeten the appeal to gamers. Not bad at all.
