A new week a new LCS test, we are reviewing an AIO cooler from Corsair: the H115i RGB PRO XT. It’s a new version of a product that’s been available on the market for about two years the, H115i Pro. It’s a 280 mm AIO with an aluminum radiator and pump coupled into a single loop and cooled by a set of two fans (140 mm fan size). Of course, you get RGB lighting with iCUE software support this round. You just need to plug the cable into the motherboard USB header and you’re ready to set up the fan curve/lighting etc. You can configure each of the 16 LEDs on the pump individually. The cooler is not expandable, but this is normal for products in this segment of the market. An interesting feature is the “zero DBA mode”, which makes the cooler passive in idle/under low loads (below 40 degrees Celsius measured for the coolant, the fans do not spin at all).

Three variants of this new family are available in the market:

The fans are PWM-controlled 140 mm ML (Magnetic Levitation) series units with 400-2000 rpm and noise performance up to 36 dBA (but you should know that all manufacturers measure this in a different way). Fan airflow is 97 CFM, so that should be enough to make the heat transfer effective. One more thing – they’re not illuminated with RGB, we know some hate that some love that. 

The dimensions are 322 mm × 137 mm × 27 mm, which is quite standard for 280 mm coolers. The radiator also looks like many others on the market (at first glance, at least). The H115i has RGB illumination on the pump (the fans are not RGB ones), which is “only” compatible with Corsair’s own lighting system – iCUE. The pricing of the series seems to be reasonable, as you can find out yourself below:
