Corsair H100i RGB PRO XT liquid cooler review
The new performance AIO LCS cooler?
Today, we are reviewing an AIO cooler from Corsair: the H100i RGB PRO XT. It’s a new revision of a product that’s been available on the market for quite some time, the H100i Pro. As before, it’s a 240 mm AIO with an aluminum (rather than copper) radiator and pump that are coupled into a single loop, and aided by fans (2 x 120 mm in this case). As in most, if not all, Corsair products nowadays, you get RGB lighting with iCUE software support. This is achieved via a USB connection to the internal motherboard header. The cooler is not expandable, but this is normal for products in this segment of the market (with exceptions like the Alphacool Eisbaer 280 Extreme or Swiftech H240 X3, which we reviewed here earlier). One interesting feature is the “zero DBA mode” which makes the cooler passive in idle/under low loads (below 40 degrees Celsius). Three variants of this new family are available:
- 240 mm (the one reviewed here)
- 280 mm (H115i RGB PRO XT)
- 360 mm (H150i RGB PRO XT)
The fans for the H100i (and H150i) are PWM-controlled 120 mm ML (Magnetic Levitation) series units with 400-2400 rpm and noise performance up to 37 dBA (but you should know that every manufacturer measures this in a different way). Fan airflow is 75 CFM, so that should be enough to make the heat transfer effective.
The dimensions are 276 mm × 120 mm × 27 mm, which is rather typical. The H100i has RGB illumination, but it’s “only” compatible with Corsair’s own lighting system – iCUE. The pricing looks very reasonable, as you can find out yourself below:

The warranty period is five years, which is a highlight of this offer. Let’s check out the manufacturer’s info, specs, and features on the next page.
