Here we have the  USB cable it's 3 meters ! The cable itself is braided cloth, not sturdy plastic. It is much more comfortable and prevents weird noises inside the cup. The downside, it will hold dirt and dust a notch more opposed to usual. Attached to the cable is a little control pod that lights up when there is USB power. You can turn on/off the MIC and control the volume of the headset.

The H1500 kit is sweet alright, nice and conforable headphones that will cover your ears,  the earpads have microfiber-wrapped memory foam that conforms to the contours of your head without binding or pinching. The H1500 is almost your typical big headset, circumaural ear coupling, nicely padded headband, sealed back earcups, but these have the exception of (proclaimed 7.1) Dolby surround sound courtesy of Xear and Dolby from C-Media. We'll get into it later as really, this is a stereo headset with a virtualized surround layer on top of it to create the illusion of 5.1 / 7.1 surround.

So yes, the H1500 remains a standard stereo headset with two 50mm drivers, but the headset uses Dolby to emulate surround sound -- that's a big difference. The big thing here is that software surround is a lot less complicated than stuffing a pair of headphones with 8 speakers.
