Performance - dGPU Bioshock Infinite | Tomb Raider
When we pop in a GeForce GTX 780 Ti we can look at behaviour amongst different platforms. This is Bioshock Infinite at ultra image quality settings. Now we test specifically at Ultra quality settings which is (we expect) how you play your games at home. The performance benefit in-between the CPUs is nominal to say the least, obviously the GPU is the bottleneck here. Then again, with a GTX 780 Ti and at 1080P we are not asking extremely demanding stuff from the graphics card.
Here we have Tomb Raider, a title that surprised the gaming community with its nice gameplay and graphics. With this GPU and Ultimate image quality settings it will be a tiny bit GPU bound, it does show the effect of CPU and mainboard performance rather well when something changes in the system. Marginal differences really.
