Meet the Core i5 7600K processor. Looking familiar alright, processor package size wise. The processor is an Intel engineering sample showing the code-name SR32V.
These processors are housed in the LGA 1151 socket package. The good news is that your processor coolers will all fit perfectly on this CPU, you'll need a compatible series 100 or 200 motherboard like Z170 (with compatible motherboard BIOS) or Z270.
For our review we will be pairing the Core i5-7600K processor with a Z270 motherboard. Intel does not manufacture reference motherboards anymore for the consumer market.
