When we place it on it's back we can see the four heatpipes coming together in the CPU copper block.
The CPU block is protected by a sticker; we see a flat mirror washed surface. Flat cores give better good cooling performance. Notice the Warning sign in red ? Yeah, that is a reflection of the sticker man... the reflection.
Here we start prepping the cooler for the installation. We'll install the cooler on a socket 775 mainboard today. The mainboard needs to come out of the PC yet first we prep the cooler with two retention plates.
We secure them with 4 screws like so.
