Product Showcase - Exterior
At the bottom to the left, we see a lot of space for even the biggest ATX power supplies. No problem, even 20 CM in length sized PSUs will fit fine here. Once seated the PSU will sit on rubber pads that will absorb vibrations created by the PSU when powered on.
To the right you can see the lower drive cage, that one can be used for 2.5" HDD and SSDs. At the bottom another removable dust filter has been fitted.
And here the backside of the chassis, behind the motherboard. There is a good amount of space for cable routing, the Scout 2 Advanced has three primary cable routing points, they are all large and located at every key location for a ATX motherboard. Also we see a main board tray cutout, that's for replacing fan brackets that need to be mounted at the backside of the motherboard. Easy access. That cutout is huge alright, yet does not make the main board tray any less sturdy.
At the backside here we have roughly 2.5 CM of space for cable routing, the side panel has an indentation though, giving you yet another CM of space to work with, which is pretty great really.
All three cable routing ports have rubber inserts, again for that clean look. Here you can see the rubber inserts a bit better. Handy to create that clean cable routing feel. So yeah, cable routing is not a problem with this chassis though. Mind you that the font-panel USB 3.0 connectors must be connected to the proprietary Intel USB 3.0 header on the motherboard.
