Then the booth that definitely left an impression, MSI spent a lot of dough on their product display alright. As you'll be noticing on Guru3D, this year we'll be working a lot more with MSI, opposed to what we did in the past. You recently already have been able to read about the MSI GeForce GTX 260 Lightning BE edition graphics card... and of course there is much more inbound. Expect some very nice stuff to come from our renewed collaboration.

For now, let's run through some of their new products to see what MSI is and is going to offer you.

Computex 2009 - Day 1

So this is a familiar card, we recently reviewed it already, this is the MSI N260GTX Lightning. Since our test was a little off with high temperatures and noise we are actually going to redo the review, and test with another sample that at this very moment has landed in the Guru3D offices. More on it later though!

Computex 2009 - Day 1

Here we see the all new N275GTX Lightning card. No clocks are known just yet but we did manage to take a photo of her stripped of the cooler, some good selling points:

  • Military Class Component (Hi-c CAP, Solid State Choke, Long life Solid CAP)
  • 8+2 PWM phase
  • Hardware APS with LED (can shutdown PWM phase during IDLE) - this is something new that N260GTX Lightning doesn't possess
  • 1792MB GDDR3
  • V-Check Points (measure GPU/memory voltage)

Computex 2009 - Day 1

Here we have the GTX 275 cards with Twin Frozr coolers, 5 heatpipes for all your cooling pleasure.
