It's nicely coated with a black metallic paint.
At the top we see the 120 mm fan + fan grill to keep the device cooled. It's very silent actually.
When I change the angle of the camera the modular connectors become more visible. Let me zoom in a little. The blue connectors on your right are dedicated to PCI-E modular cables.
To your left you can see the connectors from the fan follow-up control unit. Sensitive components such as graphic cards or hard disks can be protected against overheating by connecting the fans to this unit. Although I suggest you stick to the regular connectivity though.
The PSU fan as well as the fans connected to the power supply unit will continue to run for 3 more minutes after power has been switched off.
@20 AMPs per 12 volts rails .. not bad.
