Included in the kit is everything you need, there are a few components you need to assemble, we'll take you through that on the next page though. What I like about heat pipe coolers opposed to LCS units is their simplicity. Cooling block, fan, and one PWM cable install these and you're done. Aesthetically however LCS will win anytime, albeit the dark coating does bring an extra edge towards the bequiet series.

The unit comes with a Silent Wings 3 120mm PWM fan that is rated to only hit 23.6 dB at full throttle.

All that cooling real estate will bring you a cooling capacity of 180W of heat. More than enough for most common processors and your usage habits.

The cooler base is polished. Not a mirror finish, but it certainly is flat. The heat pipes will move away heat from the block towards the radiator fins where heat gets moved away from that processor of yours. A bit of thermal paste is included, but nothing more than a drop or two though (which in reality is sufficient).
