DirectX 11 class graphics card performance UXGA and Full HD
UXGA performance 1600x1200
So we start off nice and slow with the guys and gals that still not on Full HD, the 1600x1200 range in monitor resolution is still quite popular. Again all tests have the best quality settings enabled (Ultra) and HBAO is enabled as well as 4xMSAA.
Our scores are average framerates so you need to take a margin in mind for lower FPS at all times. As such we say 40 FPS for this game REALLY should be your minimum, while 60 FPS (frames per second) can be considered optimal with a 60Hz screen.
The EP3: Gator Bait Single Player level we test in is simply NASTY for the amount of stress it puts on the GPU. Other levels inside buildings or even on the street perform SO much better. So this level offers low framerates, whereas other levels perform extremely fast. For benchmarks we figure it probably is better to use a heavy on the GPU level, hence we choose this one.
Now it is a great looking level though ...
Above the gamers resolution of choice, slightly above Full HD at 1920x1200. Our scores are average framerates so you need to take a margin in mind for lower FPS at all times. As such we say 40 FPS for this game should be your minimum, while 60 FPS (frames per second) can be considered optimal with a 60Hz screen.
If you want the best image quality settings with 4xMSAA we'd recommend a Radeon R9 280X or GeForce GTX 770 to start with, our GTX 960 caved in really likely due to its 2GB VRAM buffer. Obviously a 290X or 970/980 is much preferred. The results are all over the place TBH with anomalies everywhere. Again EP3: Gator Bait -> Single Player = HEAVVY on the GPU.
