Performance dGPU: 3DMark 2013 FireStrike
DX11: 3DMark 2013
3DMark includes everything you need to benchmark your hardware. With three all new tests you can bench everything from smartphones and tablets, to notebooks and home PCs, to the latest high-end, multi-GPU gaming desktops. And it's not just for Windows. With 3DMark you can compare your scores with Android and iOS devices too.
Again for relevancy, we swapped out the GTX 580 for a GTX 780 Ti. So here are the first 3DMark FireStrike results. Fire Strike is the new showcase DirectX 11 benchmark designed for high-performance gaming PCs. And below just for the fun of it I also quickly ran 3DMark Vantage, it is a little more CPU tied than GPU tied hence I include it.
With vantage we can see a discrepancy compared to MSI. All high-end MSI models have slightly increase CPU Turbos compared to the defaults that ASUS uses. This explains the difference in performance. Vantage is very sensitive to memory and CPU differences. You'll tweak out that difference in like 3 seconds though, just read through our overclock paragraph.
