Product Showcase - Packaging
Alright, we dive straight into the photo-shoot. As always, we start off with the packaging. Here is the box, clearly denoting the ROG Helios. The packaging catches attention alright, as you will notice the chassis is well packaged with minimal risk of damage.
The chassis is protected in Styrofoam and a soft black cloth-like bag. There were no noticeable scratches, dents, fingerprints, dust, mud or graffiti spray jobs on it whatsoever.
And once unpacked you can see the chassis a little better. Now, before we move it into our white studio (which is horrible for photos with anything that has tempered glass) I wanted to show you some photos in different surroundings. The chassis has plastic wrapped on all essential segments, including all glass. You'll receive a manual and a small accessory box with screws and SSD mounting plates etc.
Inside the box, you will see the chassis packaged in a cloth bag, open it up and you'll notice that the chassis has carry straps, these you can leave in place as they serve an aesthetic function, however, if you don't like them, they are tightened with velcro and thus removable.
A small detail, all glass panels have been extra protected with a plastic wrapper, so the chances of scratches on that glass are really minimal.
Once unwrapped from all the plastic protection the glass immediately pops into view, the left side, top and front panel are all fitted with it. It looks very nice as you will later find out. A feast for the eyes alright when powered on with the RGB front panel active. You can clearly already see the ROG theme there. That is a thing though, you need to be a ROG fanatic to appreciate the chassis I guess. The front side bars are made of plastic but have a brushed aluminum exterior, while the roof ones are aluminum and tightly fitted to the steel chassis.
Boom, it haz a removable glass panels babeeh... Nice, you simply push a button and the glass elements come free and can be lifted out easily. I like that. It allows you to quickly access the motherboard and the components popped into it.
Included in the package are a manual, tie-wraps, a little box holding screws, cable ties and, well, the usuals.
