Performance - Wireless Internet WIFI (6)
Performance Wireless 802.11ax WIFI (6)
For our tests, we emulate what you would get performance-wise inside a house with a multi-level concrete ground and 1st floor. The router (host) is positioned at ground level and we test with a client (test system).
We make use of an ASUS AX92U (2-pack mesh), a Wi-Fi 6 Router.
- Our source router is compatible with 802.11a, 802.11ac, 802.11ax, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n.
- The router is located one floor below the office at roughly 10 Meters distance.
- We only use one router at our default install room
So as you can see, I took a measurement, and we indeed have faster throughput. On the previous page with an AC link we're at that 363 Mbps marker, the combination of WIFI6 with one ASUS AX92U router (no mesh) pushed up the throughput to 617 Mbps.
