DX9: Hard Reset

DX9: Hard Reset

Hard Reset is a PC-exclusive FPS from The Flying Wild Hog, a Polish developer that is made up from members of the team behind Painkiller (People Can Fly), and former developers from CD Projekt Red and City Interactive.
In development since April 2009, the game features a cyberpunk plot. It draws inspiration from William Gibson, Neal Stephenson, and Philip K. Dick (especially Blade Runner in story). In gameplay, Serious Sam is the main inspiration; explosive barrels and large hordes of enemies will be prominent within the game. There is no multiplayer.

Hard Reset was added into our benchmark suite as it has a handy to use benchmark mode that is very representative of the in-game graphics engine performance. Above multiple results as we included two other factory overclocked models, a reference clocked model GeForce GTX 660 as well as the GTX 660 Ti and the the main competitor for this card, the AMD Radeon HD 7870.

ASUS GTX 660

As you can see Kepler likes DX9 titles. Impressive performance, and as you'll see throughout the test sessions. The GTX 660 series, especially the factory overclocked editions are close to the GTX 660 Ti reference. But always keep looking at reference performance please.
