To your left you can see a Hydor pump that can pump around 1200 liters of water per hour. That's quite anough I'd say! This is the Hydor L30-II version to be precise. It pumps 1200:60=20 Liters of water per minute, that two full buckets guru's. The standard L20 will pump 12 liters per minute (still impressive).

Attached to it we see the control unit. This automatically turns on/off the pump depending on if the system is on/off. You hook up the radiator fans to it. From the PSU we connect the small 4-pin FDD power connector, which supplies 12V/5V to the control unit.

By moving a jumper on the control unit you can switch the radiator fan from 7 to 12 volts. This is where we had a problem. When we first started up the power supply attached to this control block and pump etc the PSU would immediately shut down. I was a little puzzled what was causing the forced shutdown of the PSU.

When examining the wiring I noticed that the fans for the radiators are 12 volts only. The control block is set standard at 7 volts and thus that was an issue. After setting the jumper at 12 volts the problem was gone.

To the right you can see the water reservoir. The reservoir is placed closely next to the pump. The WaterChill reservoir is a clear Plexiglas cylinder that holds roughly 65 ml of liquid.

This is some serious gear people, the Black Ice Pro DUAL Radiator with push on fittings. The water will be led through a narrow yet huge network of pipelines, these little pipes are easy to cool down by blowing air over the pipes. Basically the same principles are used in your car. The huge radiator being used in this kit needs two high-output, yet silent, fans mounted on it, which should be switched to a 7 or 12 volt mode depending on what sound level or level of cooling you require.

This radiator is serious 'dude' stuff. On top you can see an in and outflow for the water, to be connected towards tubing with the two ½ OD push-on fittings.

2 X 120 mm Low Noise Adda Fans, you need to screw these onto the radiator (we'll show that later on).

Tubing for the ½ OD push-on fittings. You'll receive plenty of it, 3 meters to be precise. Basically you cut them and insert them into the connector's that, for example, you see on the reservoir above. It cannot be any simpler.
