We continue to include game tests at 720p (1280x720 pixels) resolution. The games tested are put through 720p using a RTX 2080 Ti graphics card with the best settings. Why does Guru3D still measure 1280x720? It's here that's where CPU scaling is extremely visible. If you think a little more about to what you are actually seeing in the charts from 720p up to 1440p until you realize that what I am showing is the effect of raw CPU performance, not being restricted by a GPU bound situation. We realize really well that no one purchases a PC with an RTX 2080 Ti to game at 720p, the results, however, are of theoretical value. 720p numbers also could interest PC Gamers with fast 120 Hz and 144 Hz monitors. 720p tests here serve as a theoretical and really, an additional synthetic test. 

The 2920X runs on Game mode, that's the 6 cores equivalent configuration to say a Ryzen 5 2600.
