We continue to include game tests at 720p (1280x720 pixels) resolution. The games tested are put through 720p using a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card with the best settings. Why does Guru3D measure 1280x720? We include 720p results based on user/reader base requests. It's here where CPU scaling is extremely visible. If you think a little more about what you are actually seeing in the charts from 720p up to 1440p, you'll realize that what I am showing is the effect of raw CPU performance, not restricted by any sort of GPU bound situation.
