Radeon RX 6700 XT will be fitted with 12 Gigabytes of GDDR6 memory; that means it is connected to a 192-bit wide memory bus, and that's a severe limitation. AMD tries to compensate that limited memory bus by running it at 16 Gbps (effective data rate) as well as applying an additional on-die-on-GPU L3 cache.
