Above, the percentile chart of the 30 seconds gaming @ 2560x1440. Here we plot FPS and place it in relation to percentiles. 50% of the time measured frames is doing just over 90 FPS, which would be the average framerate.
People often ask me why we use FCAT over FRAPS, well just look at the above results I'd say. The answer on my end is always accuracy. The one spike at 14 seconds is real, it's scene change. However, starting at 19 seconds FRAPS is showing stuff the eyes cannot see, it's just not there. And that's fraps results for ya.
