On the next few pages we'll show you some photos. The images were taken at 4272 x 2848 pixels and then scaled down. The camera used was a Canon 450D - 12 MegaPixel.
Okay, granted... there is not much you can caption during a photo shoot of a processor. I'll try none the less, as I always say, you need to understand what you are reading about and therefore we always show you photos. Even if these processors all look the same.
Anyway, meet the both AMD Phenom II processors, Socket AM3. These are the Phenom II X4 810 and X3 720BE processors.
Though the X3 720 is a (BE) Black Edition version, you do not 'have' to purchase the BE version. A regular version will be available as well. Yet for the extra 10 bucks, heavily recommend the BE editions.
Here is the 'regular' Phenom II X4 810. Since this is not a BE edition it has its multiplier locked, which makes overclocking a more difficult. It comes with 2 MB L2 cache and 4 MB shared L3 cache. It has the same 95 watt TDP (peak processor wattage) as all processors being released today.
