SSD Performance HD Tune PRO (IOPS)

HD Tune Pro (IOPS)

HD Tune Pro is a hard disk utility and benchmarking utility for Windows. This tiny application allows you to scan your hard drives for errors or take a deeper look at several performance figures coming from the storage unit. The quick stress test shows very nice values (numbers are noted in averages).

But we want to focus at IOPS perf in the dedicated test for that. IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second, pronounced eye-ops) is a performance measurement used to characterize computer storage devices like hard disk drives (HDD), solid-state drives (SSD), and storage area networks (SAN). IOPS numbers published by storage device manufacturers do not relate to real-world application performance, it does, however, create a metric of how many operations per second the storage unit is capable of.
