Decent VMM's will not give any real penalty enough to affect performance, take unraid that's a full hypervisor with only about a difference of 1% of performance. There are also very decent Linux options with the same performance difference. The PS4 and Xbox One's problem were being Piledriver based that really held them back with everything, and very low clocked Piledriver based machines when that core really didn't see any decent scaling under 4ghz.
having consoles be on pc level will mean better pc ports im thinking, so its a win for everyone.

This is a PC basically. It's using Zen 2, and RDNA 2 with RT, these are actually killer specs for a console.
And still a crappy console. It's like having a high end Android phone running IOS. Locked down and useless. And then names dumber then anything i*(insert crap) Only thing good about the consoles is the fact they are PC. We have seen how much better ports have been this time around. A trend that needs to continue.

Really can't say much about it considering it's not released, we don't know much about it except the specs(that so far seem very well specced as much as a high end rig today), supporting DX12ULT, and rumors here and there. If there will be a Windows mode for a full Windows install like rumors said before, that'd be cool. But also fail to see anything wrong with IOS either.
