Well, guess I'll have to play this on medium-high, just as I did with Wolfenstein... can't wait to get my hands on a new GPU with ****loads of vram, but I won't wait on playing the game until that, as painful as it is. 🤓

I played the naughty version to see how the game ran/played/looked. If they released demos I wouldn't touch that **** but these days I'm in no mood to spend 40+ quid on a game that could be a turd.
Luckily the games really good and is packed full of content so I'm just pre loading the real one on steam as we speak.

i can see nowdays how game budgets goes to marketing instead of proper engineering. this game makes it clearer how flawed out gaming market is.
seems like game companies what to do what hollywood does to movies, just over hyped junk.

Hi guys,
My first post and terrific review.
I am on notebook review forums under same name. 🙂
Been playing the game love it and have found similar findings to reviewer.
I use high settings on my clevo i7 2820 16gb ram and nvidiacclevo 4GB 680m. Interestingly I noticed 2790MB of vram in use at ultra settings. Should it be using the full 4GB of video ram?
Also have another notebook alienware m17xr2 with i7 840qm 8gb ram and 7970m and it runs very similar to the clevo notebook + - 2-3 fps at and settings.
I aim for >30fps and its smooth and playable reached end of Act I.
Anyway keep up the good work and love this site and notebook review forums.
:)

Techspot has a performance review up. Dont know how much stock we can put into it though since Hilbert says results have been inconsistent from one test run to another. But interesting nevertheless if the 2gb 770 can match the 3gb 280x @ 2560x1600 on ultra settings (with temporal SMAA).
