Beside politics, the other curious fact is why RT effects were removed from the final build of the game? Since the Turing release, the tech demo of AH was prominently used to showcase RTX integration.

Hate this politics and propaganda could work in both ways. This game is hidden in Polish Game Pass, the only way to find it was to change region setting, it's absurd, no one will ever tell me what can I play or not, it my morals and choice.
So far Mundfish did the best what they can do:
1. It will maximise the sale for them, just when it's needed, lower specs needed.
2. "Hey look what we can do even without RTX"
3. Probably RTX patch is still in polishing and when it will be released it blow our minds.

Considering Ukraine is being invaded by Russia, it's only normal for them to request that other countries to boycott Russia.
The question is whether Sony, Steam and Microsoft will abide with Ukraine's request.

It is a grievous mistake to assume a goverment and it's people are one in the same. That is almost never the case. So punishing one for the other is unnecessarily punitive and counterproductive.

Well I personally deleted Kaspersky and Wargaming software from my machines the same night that Putin launched his "Special Military Operation" , only to return Wargaming titles later on when I was sure enough that they are mainly operating financially from Cyprus and big chunk of their personnel is in the Czech Republic . So yeah the same way some people are mindful about their purchases on the basis on some ecological/ethical reasons , I personally believe I should be mindful about whose military I'm financing through my purchases. And to whoever thinks it is all rubbish come to eastern Europe and see how we still are unable to get rid from USSR past , with organisations and people deeply rooted in the governments and "private business" that still keep the flow of cash to Moscow through many corruption deals and practices.
The current cast over the tops in Moscow is no different than the dreamers of the Greater German Reich , Napoleon and so on. They still carry the Byzantium Double headed eagle as coat of arms still claiming to be spiritual successors of Byzantium and Rome and as you can imagine still having a dream that they can be the ruler of Europe as this Empires ones were.

The issue is that a company working in russia, by paying taxes is already supporting the governemnt.
Is not the developers at fault, is their earnings.
They had one year to make a company outside russia and to maybe publicly state their stance on the war and how they will manage to not give a dime of the game earnings to war.
I didn't follow so i don't know if they did anything of this

It's not just the earnings that will end up supporting Russia.
The first hour of the game is like a magnum opus of soviet propaganda, painting the regime as something amazingly good.
But any country in eastern europe, that lived under the USSR, will know that it was one of the darkest periods, with oppression, violence, hunger, genocide and war.
The game also paints the USSR as the winner of WW2, but as per current Russian propaganda rules, doesn't mention that the USSR was on the side of Nazi Germany, when invading Poland and starting WW2.

I'd love to give you the same advice, but it I doubt that it will work. Those who prefer to paint peple in black and white colors depending on their nation, birth place, skin color, race or sex are unable to think apriori.

It is a game, not documentary. Should we ban new Wolfenstain games because of Nazies won WW2 and because of citizens of other countries being OK with that (outside of resistance)?
Stalin was on the side of Germany when invading Poland, but people of USSR won WW2 together with people of Britain, USA and Europe and with huge help of their governments. But as I take it now "propaganda" of those countries does not mention USSR people at all.
As for Eastern Europe under soviet regime I suspect it was much more lightweight comparing to oppression, violence and hunger inside USSR. Since I was born and raised in USSR I have that feeling.

This is getting really ridiculous! PC politics are going to destroy everything that we care about the world, we should really start to focus on real problems in the world then banging our heads about things that do not effect real world problems. Atomic Heart is a game which shows us a fictional future Soviet Union that never happened in history, it does not glory the Russian Federation or the Russian people both simply show what imagination can do. These calls to boycott are really getting out of hand....
