I like the way it looks like at minute 1:58 like exploring the environment. Remindes me on Far Cry 2 with holding the map like that, exept FC2 location was in a desert. 😀

Got my code in late November 2020 , when I got the 5800x , then upgrade to 5950X , at Microcenter.

I hope they reduce the quantity of "copy paste", which in my opinion is a signature in all Ubisoft games.

Normally there isn't vehicles in Far Cry games, so it should be interesting.

Rinse and repeat. I pass. Release something that creates the same realism experienced in FC2 and I would bite.

I really enjoyed FC2. It felt different, even somewhat believable and realistic. I spent many hours playing it. Even replayed it several times. FC3 also brought some new elements and tied it to an enjoyable, if far fetched storyline. Then the franchise became boring and repetitive. I'll give this one a try, but only because I got it from AMD, and from what I've seen in the trailer it doesn't seem like it's something I'll be interested in.

So, does this mean that FC7 will have Bryan Cranston or Bob Odenkirk as the main villain? I'm sensing a theme here...

Hate is far too strong of an emotion to describe it, but when you've been blowing up things for 30+ years, you start to value originality over formulaic, repetitive game design. FC has failed to venture outside of its neatly arranged confines. I'm sure it's still enjoyable on a visceral level.
