Q.) So what happens if I get banned? A.) Great news: you get to keep playing Titanfall! Less-great news: you only get to play with other cheaters. You can play with other banned players in something that will resemble the Wimbledon of aimbot contests. Hopefully the aimbot cheat you paid for really is the best, or these all-cheater matches could be frustrating for you. Good luck. I like that ^^^^ I hate cheaters, how come any other game so far is not using this approach to cheaters? Q.) If I’m banned, what happens if I make a party with my non-cheater friends? A.) When anyone in your party is banned, then everyone in your party will be treated as banned for that play session. If you are a non-cheater and you invite a cheater friend into a party, you will be stuck playing against cheaters. If you stop inviting your cheater friend, you will once again get to play with the non-cheater population. You do not get permanently tainted just by playing with a cheater - you are only banned for cheating if you are actually cheating. Ouch, I don't like that ^^^^ If I get banned because some of my friends playing with me is using cheat (and I'm not aware of that) and because of that I'm forced to play against other cheaters then... brute force is only option I have agains them, time to crack some fingers I guess. Luckily my kids and my friends I'm playing with are aware of that and mature enough not to use any kind of hack to get advantage while gaming.

Better than getting the hammer yourself, at least. It's refreshing to see that they're willing to review bans rather than leave everyone swept under the rug.

It says you do not get banned for playing with a cheater in your party. You are simply forced to play with other cheaters for the duration you are playing with the cheater. Obviously so your cheating friend cannot circumvent the system. You will be fine once you stop playing with the cheater.

^^^ I understand the point of this anti-cheat protection but this is what I'm mostly worried about: If you are a non-cheater and you invite a cheater friend into a party, you will be stuck playing against cheaters If some of my friends on my invite joins party and my team without activated cheat and later acivate cheat how can I know that? It's obvoius that he will be worned about that with message in Private Lobby screen: FairFight: Cheat Detected ...but can I see that message in Private Lobby screen so that I'm aware someone in my team is cheating or I'm just forced to play with other cheaters in opposite team because one of my team mates is using cheat? I want to be aware of the fact that I'm playing with cheater in my team, what dude is using cheat so I can kick him out of the team. Can someone confirm that?

Get better friends, that's how.

You guys are reading too much into it. Stuck playing against cheaters, as in, for that time period. It says you don't get permanently tainted by playing with cheater friends. And when you stop playing with them, you can play with the non-cheaters.

I wish they would do this for Battlefield 3 and 4.... I would also like to watch a match where everyone is a hacker... everyone can see through walls, everyone's weapon auto aims. hehehe..

In BF4 some shoot thru multiple walls and whole mountains with one shot.. wish they did something about that too.
Hey man I've been killed by an Ammo Box while I was flying a Jet....

I don't understand why people cheat with online FPS video games. No one really cares if you are awesome at shooter games anyways and if being too low on the leader-board bruises your ego, you probably need to go outside more. Being amongst the leaders gains you no meaningful respect, it isn't getting anyone laid nor is it making anyone any money. Why ruin the enjoyment of accomplishing things in a game on your own by just cheating your way through? What is the point of that?

There's actually been a number of CS pro's that have been caught cheating. So it actually can make you money if you're really good at hiding it and avoid LAN events. Other then that, yeah -- as a CS:GO player at a high level cheaters can go **** themselves.

Some people don't understand the notion of skill in games. In skill-based games, you become better as a player, and it influences your results. However there are many games, where there's a strong pressure for some kind of XP / achievements / stats / unlocks, making skill a secondary attribute. It's especially visible in MMO games, where you have to level up your character, gear it up etc. Still, in many of these games, you need some skill during difficult encounters. In my opinion achievements, stats, unlocks etc tainted the shooters. I think that the makers wanted to extend the replay value, but it makes you spend some time on them, what doesn't necessarily add to your skill. I'd say that stat systems are the worst of them all. While you can grind your way through achievements and unlocks, stats are directly affected by your performance against others. And I mean performance, not skill. If you're a skilled player, and have a bad day, your stats plummet and everyone can see that, you drop in ranking etc. And if you're a cheater, you get an unfair advantage in having good stats without all the effort required to learn the game mechanics, improving reactions and mouse handling. If having good stats and ranking position is a primary goal, then you get the cheaters online. And I don't mean only the users of external software that would add an unfair advantage, but also glitch users. Just look at BF4 skill per minute ranking. The top accounts were made just to enter the prepared game in the most advantageous moment to get a lot of points and leave, corrupting the ranking. Obviously someone had fun, but should such player be ranked higher in skill value than for example Dark-Betrayed? I don't want to say that all games should be hardcore skill-based, but some games which look like skill-based games should focus primarily on skill, and give little to no benefit for cheating. It's not always possible, for example with Counter-Strike or Starcraft tournaments. Still it should be taken into account by game designers, for example I believe that limiting Battlelog stats system to be only visible to you and your friends would significantly limit the number of cheaters, as they would have less benefits from getting unfair advantage. The path taken by Titanfall team is the proper one in my opinion. I just hope there will be no kicks/bans done by mistake, as it was a frequent case with BF3 and BF4.
