What´s the point of this garbage anyway?...

I lost my habit wearing watches long time ago. Peeking at the phone is the new norm anyway, why reverting back?

Top lel. Design wise it looks like one of those calculator watches from the 80's. And who wants to charge their watch every single day? Yeah no.

I agree with everyone. Way too much volume. But guys remember this is the 1st gen of it. I believe it will take another 2(GSW3? if all goes well) for it to shed all that volume. :P
If knowing the smartphone market right, they're only gonna get bigger. Soon we'll be walking with 7" screens on our wrists...

Now try getting a shirt cuff around that

They should've waited for Apple to release one first.

silly samsung, you can only piggy-back once apple actually breaks the market!

Before looking at your wristwatch it was a case of pulling your pocket watch out to see the time. So pulling something out of your pocket is actually 'reverting back' further.

Samsung is following Sony and a bunch of other companies this time....same as Apple.

and this is what happens when samsung goes first 😛 im mostly an apple hater or neutral but i have to admit it, they know when exactly to release a new product and make it shine, and then samsung and the rest come up with more refined versions also samsung loves to use fake/ugly designs for unreleased products like this

Wasn't there a kick-starter for this kind of watch with the intention of supporting iOS? I know Apple wasn't behind it but Apple has been the trend-setter in the last 10 years, and let's be honest - Samsung only follows in everyone else's footsteps only to then surpass them.

An eink alternative (With 7 day battery) is the pebble watch. http://d2brbg16830x6.cloudfront.net/trio2.jpg Although it seems stupid that they didn't fit it with a square screen, the rectangle cuts off many clock faces. Also a lack of touch is a bit of a let down. Or, the sony smart watch 2 comes out soon (the first one is out, but only really works with sony android phones). http://static.trustedreviews.com/94/000027f2f/83a6/Sony-SmartWatch-2.jpg http://www-static.se-mc.com/blogs.dir/0/files/2013/05/sw2-anywhere-any-weather-620x450-ff54071c0c8a7591da56f1d7e439b26d.jpg Fair sight nicer looking than this samsung one, though not too waterproof (sony say splashes are fine, but don't go in the shower with it)

Yeah I saw that on the BBC, I would never pay £190 for a watch

its been showing up on shelves. Well it is a bit chunky but the real problem is its not waterproof. I live in a place where it rains more than its sunny and it simply would not be a viable option here.
