They shipped it without a resolution like 1280x720 not working? That's a decent oversight...

No NPC pop issues here yet, playing with GOG version on Ultra settings. I do notice object detail is superb!

Initial reports are stating this patch is causing major pop in problems with NPCs not appearing until you are almost right next to them. I expect 1.05 to be not too far behind and fix the problem, but those of you using GOG with the Galaxy client might want to roll back to 1.03.

Well i had NPC pop ups on 1.03 too, but it happens only in certain locations, not all around the map.

This patch for me with all settings the same lost me about 5-10 fps. Also note that the game will set your texture settings to LOW (regardless of what you had them at before) so make sure to verify that. I'm not too happy with the performance drop, seems pretty widespread as per the witcher subreddit

I can confirm the performance drop in 1.04. I now have about 40-45FPS where I had 60+ before in 1.03. Also, there seems to be way more aliasing now (is Antialiasing even working anymore?) and I've seen the NPC pop-in issues, too. Standing in the area without NPCs and suddenly they pop seconds after entering. Bad patch!

How do you roll back the patch in GOG Galaxy? I can't seem to find the option. All I see found is if I disable auto update, there will be the option for "Rollback (soon)".

I can't tell if I noticed a drop really.. but I'm definitely underwhelmed with the performance I'm getting from my 970s. I am all set to Ultra @ 1440p, no hairworks and getting ~60fps but get random drops.. in certain areas it will go down to 43. Save the game and reopen in that same spot, back at 60.. wtf

ive been getting this too ever since patch v1.02. even reopening the game and coming to to the same spot it still has drop in fps but it never goes below 50 whenever there is a drop. seems strange too as it only happens at certain areas of the game. the area can be exactly the same where i am getting 60fps but one step over to this certain area and fps drops to mid 50s. really weird.
