Truly insane size. I am getting fed up with air and good chance my next build will have me trying liquid cooling.
At that pricepoint you may aswell.

The weight of the cooler is an bit beyond an motherboards specifications.

Price isnt so bad, Its more about it covering up DIMM slots :bang:
It looks like low-profile DIMM's might work. But I'm more afraid it might break the motherboard in half. :frown:

Yeah they would but I can never find any with good speeds that I like.
Corsair make some real nice LP Vegence sticks and Mushkins blackline or redlines are good aswell 1.4Kg is alot to be swinging off of you mobo though, if and when I upgrade my cooling from my Thermolab Baram (2010) it'll be with water not another air unit

aside from water cooling units have more parts that could fail or leak in time thats about it. i wonder what size board is used in the pic.....if thats a micro size board the size of the cooler might appear bigger than it really is.....but i agree it comes a point there making these air coolers to massive some times i also wonder how well it does with just the one fan.....if it could perform well with just one fan then it might not be as much issue blocking the ram slotts and to me would look much better as well:)
