I'm a big Terminator fan too, but honestly this trailer doesn't do it for me. I have a bad feeling about this movie... Also, comparing it to 28 year old Terminator 2 trailer won't help either. [youtube=lwSysg9o7wE]

Very nice, this hits the right boxes for me! While I did enjoy T2 (who didn't?) I'm that weird person that actually find the first movie very underrated, hopefully this'll do both of them justice.

T1 = directed by James Cameron - result: big hit T2 = directed, produced and written by James Cameron - result: massive hit T3, T4 and T5 = directed, produced and written by unknowns - result: flops T6 = produced by James Cameron - hopefully something good will come out as a result. JC will not involve himself in mediocre productions. Therefore, looking forward to this.

C´mon just give it a rest Hollywood!!! Stop butchering Terminator even more!!! If they really want to continue with the Terminator movies then start from zero because Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger are simply too old!!! Linda looks ridiculous trying to look an action heroine at that age... Can´t Hollywood try to do something original instead of the endless remakes, sequels and whatever...

I'll just say this regarding Linda, yes she's wrinkled as hell, but seems to be very fit otherwise (remember how shredded she was for T2, doing pull-ups like that for a woman was amazing). Instead of "fighting" aging with some messed up surgeries, I much prefer women (and men) that stay natural and are honest with themselves. There's no shame in getting old and looking the part, as long as you stay active and eat right, you're doing it right. But yeah, I don't know if she and Arnold as secondary side-kicks can save this movie. I do have a bit of hope, now that I know James Cameron is at least somewhat involved, but sill...

Expectations are low - given all the recent terminator movies. I'm willing to take a chance based on James Cameron's involvement - as mentioned, he doesn't take part in bad films.

Good then don't watch it that way the rest of US have more room in the theater LoL who do want see it.

Hey, doesn't seem too bad, but can Linda Hamilton still act again, I saw her in a few 'recent' movies and she was terrible! I'd watch any Terminator film, I remember watching the first two as a kid, maybe I won't see it in the cinema, but I'd watch it.

And? It's a robot man the outside look is just that a look. It's not important at all. Unless there's a huge difference in size between the two robots it wont change anything. It's not 1 less foot of a metallic skeleton and less 100% useless fake muscles that will make the robot grossly under-perform. The most important part of the robot is the AI and how strong the technology used to make him move is (obviously not hydraulic in the case of a liquid robot). It's amazing that people are bucked by the fact a robot looks like a woman instead of a man.
