If they can´t make it without having to use such a big cooler, then I don´t want it. This is getting ridiculous and stupid. I remember the time where all the cooling you ever needed in a PC was a heatsink and nothing more. If the technology isn´t good enough to make it without having a big giant ass heatsink and fan, then maybe it is not ready yet. Just my stupid old ass opinion

Something like the Crucial T700 or Gigabyte Aorus 10000 runs fine with stock heatsink or a good passive motherboard heatsink, if you can live with the "low" 10GB/s gen5 speed and high cost. I have settled with gen 4 7GB/s, the cost benefit is not there for me, I will save my only pci gen 5 slot for when cheaper and full speed disks arrive.
