Lots of account details all ripe for plucking by some youthful hacker, no doubt. 100 million accounts is the kind of figure bound to cause some troublemaker to drool profusely. 😉

This. Although I'm surprised Steam didn't get hacked (or has never admitted it) like Sony's database, for instance.

I think valve learned thier lesson about online security when that guy hacked and stole half life 2 from them way back in 2003.

Well, also hackers have been getting better in the last 11 years I guess 🙂 But yeah, maybe they realised that security is not something little if it comes to online gaming and general computing business. Lessons others seem to have ignored too long.
