Too pricey, sure after few month of launching it, the price will fall to increase demand.

I pay half of that for 3 months to get access to a Pay Server and download whatever i want ^^

so for 4K we have (on legal solution of course):
*30$ for a movie from Sony
*15Euro unlimited content by month Netflix
*9Euro for any movie by month from internet provider
Is the Sony's staff have ever use internet?
Do they have thrown them to hungry flying shark after this announcement?
it make me laugh 🙂

Netflix rules. Pretty sure I could get by on FHD movies in foreseeable future without breaking a sweat

The physical copies cost less here in Finland where the taxes are 24% for these. Nice one Sony nice one lol...
And never mind Netflix being cheap compared and well there are other options also for less. So what gives?
BLEH!
No, thanks.

Keep in mind this is buying the movie, so you can watch it as many times as you want. Still a stupid price though, especially considering the limitations (and the fact you're not getting a physical copy).
I figure network bandwidth could be an issue for a lot of people.

BR movies and players were quite high price wise if i remember correctly when they first launched, so no doubt these will drop in price over time.
Hell i still have only one BR player in the house, the PS3 slim i bought in 2010, still works like a trooper.

30$, so about 5 pound in real money then. Not that bad really since like steam you then own the movie at least.
It's not that much really for 4k content at release and like others have said the price will probably drop and there will be sales and stuff.

Just normal Sony stuff as usual. They're delusional and completely out of touch with reality as always.
If you want the real number, $30 is about 21 pounds.

$30 for UHD 2160P movies, we can argue.
$30 for Sony's catalogue, we cannot.
That's offensive and they clearly have very high opinions of The 'amazing' Spiderman.
FU Sony. FU on so many levels.

If it's £21, then, that's only a few pounds more than current br films. I find br expensive and have zero br films on disc. The prices haven't come down that quick tbh.
