it's taken forever for the S series to be competitive with the LG V. the V 20 and 30 both have superior audio and superior expandability up to the theoretical 2Tb MicroSD limit. i have the 400Gb SanDisk in my phone atm. and...replaceable batteries don't have um, issues.

I'm happy with my S9+ with it's "superior" display and "superior" dual cameras bringing innovative dual-aperture mode (f/1.5 mode) and (f/2.4 mode) ,3500mAh with "superior" battery life to the LG V 20-30 3300mAh , and Stereo speakers Dolby ATMOS ( wish the LG V does not have ) , native 128GB memory on the phone ( I can expand that with a 400GB microSD card = 528GB wish for me it's absolutely unnecessary as native 128GB it's enough for my needs and lighting fast , microSD cards are slow when compared to native in phone memory ( Fact ) , Snapdragon 845 and 6GB of Ram make it lightning fast. I think overall the S series are a couple of notches above the LG V. Upgraded just yesterday from a LG G5, really pleased with it so far .... Really big step up from my G5, jam packed with features, beautiful display, amazing camera(although not quite on par with my wife's Google pixel 2 imo)feels really snappy too. All in all great handset.
