Yeah this will be fake, there is no way it would jump up 900 dollars, almost double. And why the liquid one would be cheaper? Didn't Nvidia say this generation should be cheaper? Either way who would buy nvidia if AMD is 3 times less for 5 fps EDIT: Then again the X90 series used to be dual cards? so price wise this makes a little more sense if we are going back to that like the 590/690

Maybe it's three times as fast and thus twice as expensive.... j/k.

If you have it why not? I personally do not pay more then $250 ,for a video card . Might get myself a used 1080ti soon us poor folk like to game too . 🙂

These are Chinese prices. nVidia is dogshit expensive here! a higher-end 2080ti custom version already costs 13000 RMB here.. 16000 for the MSI Lightning version for example. USD prices should be lower.

I hope AMD has some game, when i got my 1080Ti for $629 new, but there comes a time when a fool and his money are soon parted.

The only way that even remotely makes sense is if it's a dual GPU card. If that's true though, I surely hope they have something up their sleeve to make the OS see it as a single GPU.

might be aus dollars 2000= 1100 pounds

The sentence starts with the word rumour. That's enough to even start to considerate a vocal opinion. Let's wait and see, as usual.

No, I don't think they would have ever said that. Nvidia most certainly wouldn't want to make them cheaper, especially if they need to use a higher amount of more expensive RAM.

looks like its a time to buy xbox series x or ps5 and just stop feeding greedy companies like nvidia with our money greedvidia and shambapple are 2 worst companies in the world

If you have the proper canals and connections to exclude payment of VAT or buy at wholesale pricing, why not? Most people with higher end or enthusiast grade components have found always a way to not pay full retail price, ever.

I dont believe it. If true it may be a new tier above the usual xx80 ti and a limited production run of just a few hundred cards. Because at $2000, they will never sell in the sort of volume they did the 2080ti.

I paid $169.99 for my GTX 1060. Two days later it was $490 something+ and barely ever came down and still costs more than that now.

Same, and I will be pissed that it was over $199. I would not pay more than 3-350 for the most absolute high end card...which I have never owned, of course. Well, excpet that one time I won a Radeon 9800 Pro when it was the shizzle. I had about 2 months where I had the best card in town. For reference, I just got this guitar for $130. Metal ore was mined...trees Died! Not paying 3x that for tiny little circuit board made of sand and copper that costs $9.99 to make. Also look at all the stuff that goes into making a motherboard, and that only costs $78-99.99 yet they think these single purpose little daughter-boards should cost 4-800? dafu?

Be recycled balsa wood that guitar, for that price. Most of the cost of GPU goes back into tech research generally. Small amount is the hardware. Large amount is R&D.

If amd can make big navi fast and stable on software [drivers] i might buy one if its faster then 3090. Also nvidia need some competition to lower there prices, they can go as high as possible for a few years now in the high-end market.

yikes if that's true
