2080 is coming in 10 and 20gb versions, this is confirmed info. 3090 is 24gb,I suspect there's gonna be a 3080Ti with 11-12gb in the middle.

That seems like a sharp uplift again from NVIDIA. Hasn't the price of memory reduced per GB with process node shrinks? I suspect the price hike has more to do with the lack of competition and the need to keep profits trending upwards and the share price doing the same. If/when AMD or Intel release cards that are competive at lower prices I suspect we'll find that there is a lot of scope to adjust RTX prices to stay competitive.

Rumors, rumors everywhere... Why can't we just wait for official release and then talk about what really is on the market? I'm so tired of these rumors on every tech site - it seems that clicks are more important than proper journalism and facts. 🙁

Even if it's a rumor, its definitely not going to cost below current price of 2080ti, because there is no competition in this segment. The really silly thing is that I can get the rest of PC for the same price as GPU.

Wonder about RTX 3080. I am guessing it will hit 750-800 $/EUR.

Serious question guys... This gen there is new Segment announced all of sudden, its called 3090... for me, this was already a major red flag. Any change this company does, is to milk you even more, and many of you will just say yes to it (aka the ppl who say they have few Ks ready for card what ever the price etc) This generation will be even bigger cash grab than the last one, with BS RTX beta etc. Enjoy the mid range GPU for the biggest price ever. I will wait for AMD. Like I did with my Ryzen 3600.

So..Strix OC/FTW etc = 1700-1800$ ?

I think they call it 3090 so they can slap a "Super" (or "Ti" or whatever other name marketing comes up with) on all cards for a refresh next year (or whenever they feel they need to). But yeah, it's there to milk the customers. If you want to upgrade this year, it will be wisest to wait for what AMD will bring on the table and hope it's at least competitive from a performance standpoint in all areas and cheaper so Nvidia will have to adjust their prices down as well (or drop the "Super" cards).

If everyone just said, "I'll wait six months", nVidia might actually consider DROPPING the price. You never know.

Thank you nVidia you can still keep them for yourself for this money. 😡:( I still believe in that 3090 would be the one that replaces Titan cards and there will be the cheaper Ti for the gamers who actually did not win the lottery or own an oil company...

The 3080 is supposedly $799 and 3070 = $499. If rumors from same source are accurate.

I think it would have been better marketing move for NV to call the 3090 a Titan Gaming or something. Because there will definitely be a card down the road to fill the gap between that and the 3080. That gap is too big for them not to do something about (either 3080ti or 3080 Super).

I believe in that you are right. At this point these leaks are based on some chitchat nothing more or less. We will have a better picture on 1st of September I hope. But still it feels like this generation will cost even more than Turing no matter what. Not to say that Turing prices were already crazy high. And this is why many of gamers kept their Pascal cards until now. But one day even those users would like to do upgrade, they cannot skip every generation of new cards. I can see many go for new consoles and say goodbye to PC gaming.

I'm looking at replacing my 980s with two 3xxx early next year, but my absolute price limit is 1000 € per card, and I'd rather not even pay that.
