well, after many companies moving toward to console exclusiveness (titles i would have loved to be able to play on the pc and were only console exlusives like red dead redemption, last of us, uncharted series, metal gear solid 4, etc) i think we pc gamers should consider ourselves lucky about gta 5 still being considered for pc, even after more than a year ago. i thank rockstargames for not forgetting pc gamers at least with gta 5 i wish all companies would do the same, even after 1 or two years of console title releases.

and heists, yeah the big thing that Rockstar raved about in their pre release videos for GTA Online, what about them, we're almost a year on from release and STILL no word if heists will ever make it to the game.

Got the game on PS3 just to try it out. Only played it for a short time, a few missions, as I want to experience the game on the PC in it's full glory and on the platform where it was meant to be played. Have been waiting for the PC version ever since. This game should have been developed and released for the PC and ported to consoles, not the other way around. And I'm talking about having it optimized for PC, rather than a poor console port.

Sure as hell not paying full price now they let PC players finish last again, over a year after initial release. And trust me, I would have bought it and downloaded it the first day of release. Good riddance, GTA V, you're finally off my list.

People keep on saying stuff like this, for YEARS now and yet here we are with another "console exclusive" coming to PC, just like Destiny will. Its nonsense honestly. For as many people may pirate it, TONS more will purchase it. And also, just take a look at how many people pirate console games on public trackers alone. Seriously, let go of this concept.. its been debunked.

I think the point of the game is to play the missions and story, not gather pretty pointless money. It's useful in online however.

Why that's a strange reaction for you, you know me personally? Sure I'll buy it for PC, but after all these GTA V for PC delays I lost my interest for opening my wallet in advance to preorder not just this but any future game for PC because in my case almost all PC games preorders were complete waste of money in past few years. No more giving my hard earned money for something I would get not just with few weeks of delay but almost year and half after console release, and I bet (as always) game will be far from polished, there will be tons of bugs and unoptimisations in PC version in first few weeks, maybe even months. And I'm not talkin about preordering just one copy of GTA V game for PC: I have two sons (and thank God one daughter also who doesn't play games like this, yet) so I have to keep aside money not just for one but for three copies of games and also for PC upgrades for at least one PC so that all three of us can play that game online in same time in all it's glory. And I'm not some horny kid who can't wait few monts more (after console version) to get his game on it's favorite gaming platform. But to wait almost year and half, now that's nothing more than POS I say. 30+ years of gaming experience on my back so don't tell me I haven't learned yet to wait for a good game, as years are passing PC gamers are waiting more and more because of delays to get some AAA titles, and it will be even worse in future. Lesson learned, no more preorders for PC as far as I'm concerned, I'll wait for summer sales and buy for at least 2/3 of preorder price, by then game will be polished enough and playable as it should be, case closed. edit Only game worth of preorder from my point of view atm is Elite: Dangerous, that game and no other and I'm 110% that game is worth all my money I'm gonna spend on it both for me and my older son who's gonna play it also. Sure I'm gonna enjoy it like 30 years before on my belovedC-64. From now on game developers are going to have a hard time to take my money in advance before I see final product: get it on time and get it polished, my wallet can wait...

Gaming on PC is becoming serious joke day by day. People drop $500 for GPU only and still can't even play majority of games properly, even though the power is there , no one cares to make good quality PC versions of games these days. It all went down console road.

Conflicting messages here.. it all went down console road.. indeed it did.. this is now changing. People do care to make good pc games these days.. there are numerous examples of PC games that are not ports. History repeats itself. There are more people with gaming pcs these days, and console users are starting to get pissed with high priced consoles, games, and having to pay for more dlc on systems that do not offer the same level performance as even a mediocre pc can. Mark my words.. console does not have the pull that it once did. PC is coming back.

PC Gamers: "We have to wait two extra months, I'm done waiting FU Rockstar" January 2015 same gamers...."BEST GAME EVAAAAAH". If you're tired of sloppy ports, or long delays, or missing out on exclusives, if you're sick of spending large amounts of money to deal with the previously mentioned things, STOP GAMING ON PC. It's as simple as that. I did it. I've been a PC gamer since the original voodoo through the introduction of ati and nvidia, into the FX blunder (owned a 5800 ULTRA FX blow dryer). I have a mid-range rig that plays older games cranked up and thats it. I got tired of spending more time trying to make a game work than actually playing the game. Missing out on console exclusives or even stuff like Madden that hasn't seen a PC release in forever. Takes some getting used to but worth it in the end. It's just not worth it anymore to me. Not financially, not time wise, not for any exclusives....(there are none, yeah yeah star citizen and an hour of a buggy game like the forest don't do much) it just quit being fun. My buddy got dead rising 3, he has a new high end intel cpu and a 780ti, game ran like crap, kept crashing, etc. When he finally got things working he goes "man this game kinda sucks..." I laughed and said, " yeah, I figured that out way faster on xbox one when I put the disk in and the game just ran". He called me some crappy console boy names and we laughed. But it's an exact reason why I gave up. Dev's gave up on us, I gave up on the hope it will get better.
