The purpose of this video card "segment" is to keep prices of the actual video cards gamers want to buy at the inflated prices.

Could have been a cheap upgrade to a Ryzen 3200G I had to default to because the 3400G disappeared from shops when I was shopping for parts for my nephew.
But... at 170$ or whatever? I remember when you could get a RX470 for that price... Maybe if it was 70$.

Fifty dolar card at best. Thanks.

If you think this is too expensive just wait for the 4000 series! The last 2 GPUs Nvidia have released are the 3090ti and 1630. Inflation, whatever the real cause is kicking in big time.

I was hoping it would have HDMI 2.1 so I can put it in my HTPC and have 4:4:4 4k 60hz HDR without any trouble and also Nvidia AI upscaling is the best in the world for movies. But having 2.0b is very bad not even HDR 🙁 .

"To tell you the truth, I'm still confused about why NVIDIA decided to release this card."
Well, it's veeery simple, this is Nvidia telling us "If you want to pay $150 for a GPU this is the piece of crap you are going to get from now on, get rekt."

Depressing. 9 years after buying my gtx760, one can get fairly similar performance in 2022 for nearly the same price!

$257 is $40 short of purchasing a brand new ancient 1050 Ti where I live...
