No one who isn't a creator, enthusiast or a professional gamer has any business upgrading a Zen 3 or a Comet/Rocket Lake. I would consider upgrading a Coffee Lake at this point, but I'd also probably wait for Meteor Lake/Zen4 3D to make that decision.

people here know i can be critical and that when i like something i advocate for it.
Intel has been on the bloody edge of my commentary for quite some time, but i eased up with roadmap pre AL.
what i'm going to say is this - this is the best cpu from Intel since the legendary Q6660 (@ 64 nm lol)
until the 7700X3D/7800X3D comes out, this is my recommended cpu. and not just for value, lower cost of maintenance, or easier cooling, but for performance as well.
unlike many, i advocate for a (relatively) cheap set of DDR 5 5600 with the monies saved along with a B series board and buy rx6900xt as the best value gpu and you will be rocking and rolling @ 4k.
all-in around $2,100.00 US
in eurozone i definitely can see DDR 4 and updating the bios on an AL board.
