Great review, but what is wrong with the contrast measurement? Any VA panel has at least 2000:1 but this one has only 690:1? That is worse then any LCD from 15 years ago.

Nice review 😎 Weird one, not sure what they where drinking when they conceived this abomination.

Super-wide alright. But super-narrow (1080p) kills it for me. 3840x1440p would be nicer, though dont think any exist yet. LG has a 3840x1600 at similar price, would rather have one of those.

I don't get the point to have a so wide monitor so close...
and even more with the GPU needed to have a correct display and the not so pretty spec of those monitor...
I think it is to milk a bit more gamer.
Yes there is some on pro segment but at por*****fic price for mainstream consumer 🙂 and you will need really powerfull GPU(s) to use it.

Nice review, as usual heh.
Honestly, I think it's to wide for (some) games, fast paced shooters for example :P
The price is pretty spot on considering I paid €999 for my 34" Samsung CF791 when it came out (100hz, Freesync 1, 3440x1440).
The best thing to do with these monitors is Race games, those are great on ultra or super wides.
Almost as good as VR, but that just takes race games to a whole different level no monitor can EVER touch 😀

I have one of the 34 inch 3440x1440 models. I couldn't see wanting to go wider than that. 34 is just doable without having to adjust your eyes/view too much to see all of the screen. I would only move up to 49 inches if I was a hammerhead shark.

I have 10 bit enabled for my screen and there are no issues with Chrome or any other app.

Beautiful monitor but i feel like 32:9 is too much. With a 21:9 after a few hours my eyes start hurting if i look in the corners a lot(at minimap/ammo/chat , etc) and i need to start moving my head to look in those areas.

I believe this monitor was designed for people with the uncommon medical condition cyclopai widerammona ( persons with only one large eye in the center of their foreheads which appears grotesquely stretched on the horizontal plane.)

Been looking for one of these super ultra wide 49" to replace my current triple wide 5760x1080. My setup is fine, running a 1080ti, but I'm looking for higher resolution, higher refresh rate & HDR for my next upgrade. We're almost there.

Luminance uniformity is off the chart - literally.
I don;t think I have ever seen the result as bad as this one.

I haven't seen a .31 dot pitch in decades...;) $1k for visible pixels in 2019? I know they made this thing for "gamers", but really there's no need to insult them. Even the build quality is poor. It might be an OK buy @ $300, but I still wouldn't buy it at any price.
