...this resolved itself with the latest BIOS we received from MSI.
I didn't realise MSI provided Asus's bios updates!? 😛 Last page, 2nd paragraph 😉

I definitely agree with you on that, thanks 🙂

Another excellent and to the point review, I have the Hero XII in my gaming computer, read lots of reviews before choosing it, for me (and perhaps most others?) the new XIII version is a doubtful upgrade at a higher cost. Gaming computer components (especially GPU's & CPU's) are already very expensive and sometimes difficult to buy anyway.

Whats with PCIe 4.0? 80 Watts is what my entire PC is using while AVX crunching Stockfish with 12 threads. Hero X + 8700k @ 2.3 GHz 40-ish in idle

Nice to see your comments. Always had my eyes on a HERO. Now having a bit of an 'impatience fit' and really wanting to upgrade this year. Bite the bullet no matter what. Due to my wallet constraints thinking about a Hero XII along with a i9-10850K. Hoping of course that prices will come down further for both and availability maintains itself? Heard about that the Hero XII had some Ethernet port issues? Surely a top notch or maxed-out Z490 HERO XII system should carry me through for the next 4-5 years? And if the 2021 pricing is right it should be a nice bang for the buck? Thoughts?
