Those are actually quite impressive numbers, the price however is slightly less impressive.
Tbh, this will give AMD a little foothold though in the gpu market, or atleast I hope so :boozer:

Looks like a great card for a niche market, a really niche market, honestly at least it seems more pragmatic than a Titan X.

It's like really great card with a silly price, niche market sure. Great review.

The performance looks really great, especially at this size, but it's way too expensive.

This card is DOA, not cause of bad performance, cause it has good performance.
Price is too premium and means nothing, 980TI can be picked at that price or even Fury X.
This product is for very small crowd, bad mistake by AMD, they need a product that the mass will want and buy.

Great review Hilbert, thanks for putting it inside a case too! 🙂
Personally I'm positively surprised by it's performance on the bench, but not inside a case. And imho, the case HH used isn't even small enough to make really good use of the card's small features, and there already we see thermal throttling by 15%.
Then again, the price isn't really something to ignore...

I still think they shoud've made Nano weaker, cut down from XT and place it in 350-400$ price range. I know that segment is crowded but still it would make such a card so much more appealing.

I don't think AMD expects to be selling a ton of these. They've had a really hard time just keeping up with the stock for the Fury X. Considering how many people moan about price, the Fury was a much better value, but the Fury X still managed to be out of stock. Considering the Nano is basically the same chip, I don't expect them to have a lot of these in stock either. Once they catch up with the demand I'm sure the price will drop. If Nvidia ever sells something that competes with the Nano then I'm sure the price will drop even more.

I really don't get this. Instead of cutting it down from Fiji XT, they made it a full XT chip. Thus they are reducing the available stock for Fury X which is low to begin with.
Then some guy said 'I know! Let's price it at 650$!'. I'm not even sorry for laughing anymore. They are just digging their own grave. AMD wake up!
Can confirm. Average salary in Romania = ~400EUR. 980Ti should reflect our economy but it's not even 650$, it's around 850EUR (950$). Ridiculous.

I want one! This is a great little card! Good performance and power usage, just that price tag :'(

The name says it all when it comes to the price.

Great review! Pricing makes a bit more sense now seeing its above 980 in performance. Typo on last page Hilbert: Again, this product is intended for the living room. You dropped the word not.
