I don't know of any other device than the steam deck or rog ally that can't use anything other than 2230. I didn't think it would drive enough demand for such products. The steep price must make such a niche product lucrative enough.

Weird to test these without focusing specifically on what the target market is here, steamdeck/rog_ally devices.
ANY QLC devices will start losing most of their performance once they lose their SLC buffer.
If you absolutely need a 2TB drive then sure, but otherwise the 1TB 2230 drives are still mostly using TLC & handle a lot better under write-limited scenarios.
