I didn't know the enhanced USB hub costs as much as other mini PCs by themselves.

Yeah, kinda defeats the purpose honestly. A lot of docks don't even have that much smaller of a footprint than mini PCs. What ever happened to the days where the monitor had all sorts of stuff built-in? I always felt it was odd for people to buy a display connected to a dock - you're just taking up desk space and adding clutter to the desk. Funny thing is I have this old all-in-one iMac from the late 2000s which I've gutted for the intention of putting PC parts in it; using Framework parts might work well with it. But, I don't really have a need for such a computer and I don't expect most people to be interested in buying it. So then I got to thinking of basically just integrating a dock into it. Then, I could maybe stick a Bluetooth dongle, card reader, and USB to SATA port to connect the built-in DVD drive. It has built-in speakers and webcam too, so it kinda becomes this neat all-in-one display where you bring your own PC. Last but not least, I've considered putting an SSD in there loaded with Ventoy so I can select between a variety of ISOs in the event I need to install/repair an OS. I've also contemplated putting an ARM computer in there maybe loaded with Android for some basic internet usage but I'm that's a lot to maintain for something I'm hardly ever going to use.

being a Razer product it is even strange to me that it is not that overpriced (just a bit).

That's a pretty neat idea!

@schmidtbag hehe yeah so may projects on my mind end up like that ... Not worth the effort or money for something I would barely touch. That said you can just duct tape a pi5 behind any monitor really.

Maybe this is a gaming USB dock. Hence the pricing
