I've set my updates on hold for 35 days, just as a precaution.

Luckily my 1803 install has refused to accept any monthly update from the February one onwards so I'm good. 😛
Not to beat the zombiefied horse any more but Microsoft should probably consider lowering the pace of their updates. And start thinking about removing features rather than keep adding them.

That's why i use Acronis True Image every 15th of the month, and keep 4 months of backups.

This seems like a rather niche case. Who regularly uses System Restore? I don't think I have ever used it, its way too unpredictable. And there is also clear steps to fix it.

System restore has never worked for me on Windows 10. Whenever I've tried to go back to a restore point, it would reboot and give me an error that it couldn't be completed. Oddly enough, this is the case on all the Windows 10 systems in the household. Windows 7 never had such issues.
