Another underspecced, overpriced card no doubt. They are putting out unattractive garbage to clear out old stock. Either that or they just don't care anymore. This generation from both companies is clearly designed to not sell for some reason.

Should be a 19 - 20 TFLOP card. The 6800XT is a 21 - 22 TFLOP card. So they should perform very similarly and it won't move the GPU market even one bit.

Wonder what the MSRP is going to be. 7900XT can now be bought for $750, 6800XT goes under $600 so I don't think anything higher than $650 is gonna cut it and even that is stretching it. $600 would be more reasonable (assuming there is at least some generational uplift), but I expect AMD to go with something ridiculous like $700.

Man, this card looks pathetic!

499€ and it can be worth it.

I bet AMD will price it at 599$ and then it will drop to 499 in about a month.

This card was supposed to be the 7800 (non xt) The Sapphire Nitro+ model should have higher gpu and memory clocks

AMD are going full nGreedia and dragging the names/tiers of their graphics cards through the mud. Everyone and their dogs knows the "7900 XT" had 7800 XT specs, this thing is just a PoS for whatever they'll ask for it based on its name. This clown fiesta of a generation wouldn't be so bad if the prices weren't a giant middle finger.

Maaaan, this is depressing. Every mid-range card from the new generation is less than the card which is supposed to replace. What a sh|tshow from both companies.

Nvidia's entry level cards for £300 - £500 are daylight robbery (AMD's £270 7600 is bad as well) AMD can probably get away with charging £550 for this card as the 4070 is £600

Amazing how Nvidia inspires the competition. 😀

I dont understand them why not set the price to 499$ and avoid negative reviews?

That is something that some reviewers have told AMD. And AMD said their internal benchmarks showed it had better value. Whatever is really going in AMD's internal testing, might be skewing results. And they really need to fix this. A good example, is the 7900XT. At 900$ it's complete non-sense of a GPU and it got destroyed in reviews. But at 750$, it makes a lot more sense. AMD would get a smaller profit margin, but they would sell more. And they would not hurt their own brand reputation.

*Sigh!* AMD, what is this?

True, Nvidia and AMD have been sharing the same bed for a very long time... And it`s going to be even worse when they invite Intel for a nice threesome...

Because AMD is not that interested in selling GPUs right now. Specially when they are busy selling Epyc CPUs with a starting price of 5.000€...

Without similar DLSS 3 Frame Generation feature, all radeon 7000 series are true robbery. So please amd just release your FSR 3 already !

the same people here that waited nvidia and amd to cannibalize their previous gen stock by lowering prices ,now wonder why they release so low performance next gen products with some tweaks here and there. I bet both amd and nvidia would be happy not releasing anything at all until stock came to a balance. Contracts must be fulfilled though and those cards are as close as it can get to "not releasing anything at all" .

If this was a non-XT I'd say "this is adequate". Not impressive, but not bad. As a XT-model though, this is underwhelming. But hey, if stuff like this further reduces the price of a 6800 then yay for me.
